Statice shawl is knitted top down in combination of garter stitch with row of simple eyelets. The bottom edge of shawl is decorated with picot bind off. The size of shawl is easily adjustable to small shawlette or larger shawl by adding or removing number of rows in garter stitch.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:

  • 50 inches (127 cm) measured along the wingspan
  • 20 inches (51 cm) measured down the centre spine

TOOLS & MATERIALS:

  • 3 x 50 g skeins of wool yarn in DK weight.
  • 2 x 25 g skeins of lace weight mohair yarn
  • Circular needle US8 (5.0 mm) x 100 cm or longer
  • 4 x stitch markers
  • Tapestry needle or crochet hook

USED YARN: Drops Puna in shade 2 and Drops Kid Silk in shade 33
