This is a cozy sweater with unique color work on the sleeves. You can work the body either in a front and back panel with seams or in the round, separating at the armpits to then work flat. The sleeves are picked up and knitted flat, with the colorwork added using duplicate stitch before seaming the sleeves.

The sweater calls for one main color and a small amount of a contrasting color for the sleeve details.

For this sweater I knit with Lion Brand’s Wool Ease yarn. I used Oxford Grey for my main color and Icicle for my contrasting color.
You will only need a small amount of the contrasting color, so the yardage estimates reflect total yardage.

Approx. yardage
720(770, 820, 890, 960)(1200, 1350, 1440)

You can use any color and any yarn that gets you the correct gauge!

This is a very beginner friendly pattern, especially because duplicate stitch is the most beginner-friendly colorwork! The body can be adapted to be extra long or cropped and the neck can be adapted to be shorter if you’d prefer not having a turtleneck.
