I used a DK weight yarn but any weight yarn can be used with the corresponding hook size. I delved into my yarn stash and opted for 13 different hues that caught my eye and were in sufficient quantity to form my colour palette.

Included in the pattern is a seperate file that lists the best matched colours and sequence to replicate the blanket using Stylecraft Special DK.

Total yarn used (excluding the border):
Colour A: 575g or approximately 1,150m
Colour B: 380g or approximately 760m

The design has a 48 stitch repeat that you can arrange in a variety of ways.
