This hat combines short rows, garter stitch wedges, and alternating colors for a fun knit! Inspired by other patterns with similar construction—but sweater patterns using this method for yoke shaping—the Stoneleigh hat is the little sister of the loch raven sweater, Assateague, and Baton Rouge sweaters.

Choose your favorite two colors of sock yarn for this hat, and choose to add a pom pom or leave it off at the very end.

Techniques used: short rows (German method), knit and purl in the round, decreases, changing colors.
