You point your knitting needles towards your enemy. Where you point, mist forms, creating nasty storm clouds. Lightning, deafening wind and thunder follow. Yarn rains down, washing your enemy away in a whirlwind of wool! Oh wait… that doesn’t sound so terrible.

Storm of Vengeance is a chunky, cabled hat inspired by a Dungeons and Dragons spell cast by the nature-loving Druid class. Asymmetrical cables spiral together to meet at the crown like a beautiful and terrible storm.

The hat knits up quickly, thanks to the chunky yarn, but the cables are interesting and fun to knit up!

CONSTRUCTION NOTES
Begin with 1x1 twisted ribbing at the brim. Work up asymmetrical cables, separated by purled stitches, to get an unpredictable, stormy effect! The cabled sections are available in chart format as well as written. We decrease for the crown of the hat until a few stitches remain, then finish up and weave in ends, then we have a hat!
