The Stormy Lace Cowl has wonderful lace detail inspired by stormy skies.

The cowl is knit in the round with a British moss stitch (seed stitch) border around the bottom (cast on) and top (cast off) edges.

The finished size after blocking is 12” (30.5cm) tall by width circumference 35” (89cm). The cowl can be made narrower or wider by completing less or more repeats of the lace chart.

The photographed sample was knit with 3.25mm (US 3) circular needles (length 40cm (16”)) and 1 skein of Silkpaca Lace, Malabrigo (70% baby alpaca, 30% silk), 50 grams/384 meters (420 yards), in Abril colour.

The pattern includes a chart for the lace work.

Enjoy and happy knitting!
