The story behind these half-mitts
This half-mitten is a short and smooth mitten created to be worn while working with your hands. Many half-mitts can in my experience be a bit in the way (especially whilst knitting) and I therefore made these smaller half-mitten which can be worn without being in the way.

Storsjöfrost is a series of patterns inspired by the first frost in Jämtland. In the same series there is a fingering mitten, a Nutiden mitten, a Nutiden cowl, socks in DK, slippers in worsted and a kids version called Lillsjöfrost. The series will continue to grow and all other patterns are available here on Ravelry.

These half-mitts are knitted in double thread of Nutiden or other unspun wool in two contrasting colors. Since unspun wool can vary in thickness I recommend you to check your gauge thoroughly and adjust needles if needed.
