Storsjöfrosttossan is a warm and cozy slipper in the Storsjöfrost collection, inspired by the first frost in Jämtland. This collection is very close to my heart since it has a meditative pattern, making you fall into a deep state of relaxation while knitting.

When you knit these slippers I recommend you to hold the contrasting color closest to the work. This is to get an even result.

Storsjöfrosttossan has a small cuff with twisted rib, an easy an enjoyable pattern on the top of the foot and stripes on the sole of the foot. The slippers are knitted with an afterthought heel. Cuff, heel and toe are knitted in the main color. The toe is wide and joined with kitchener stitch.

Needles used are 4 mm. If you want to make a version in double strand of Nutiden I recommend 3.5 mm needles.

Yarn is Järbo Raggi, but you may also use any other yarn with same metrage, or double thread of Nutiden.
