This stocking is a bit larger than a normal foot, but if you wish to make it larger, just divide the number of pegs you have by 12, then use that number to multiply by 10 for the ankle. The foot is as many rows as you have pegs. (ie, a 40 peg loom would have 33 rows for the ankle and 40 rows for the foot). This must be done on an even numbered round loom.

This pattern is written with a 30 peg loom in mind, because I have projects on all my larger looms.

You will need:

  • 3 colors of yarn in worsted weight, wrapped in a manner that you can hold the yarn doubled.
  • scissors
  • a 30 peg round loom, or similar even-numbered loom able to make hats on, and hook.
  • a tapestry needle
  • a crochet hook
  • double pointed needles (optional)

Gauge is unimportant for this pattern.
