Part of a personal project to make cute knitting patterns of pokemon from gen 1.

Requirements:

• Black Yarn (Caron Simply Soft) for the base hemisphere.
• Light Blue Yarn (I used Cobalt Blue in Caron Simply Soft) for the head and mantle.
• Gray Yarn (I used Grey Heather in Caron Simply Soft) for the tendrils.
• Red Felt for the head jewels, cut into 3 circles, one about 1 cm (~.4 inches) and the other two about 4.5 cm (~1 6/8 inches).
• Red sewing thread to sew on the felt jewels.
• Polyfill stuffing.
• Black stuffed animal safety eyes (larger is better).
• A sewing needle and a tapestry needle.
• Six 3.5 mm Double Pointed Needles.

Aditionally, you will need to know how to knit, purl, knit front and back, knit two together, wrap & turn, and sew just a bit.

After some confusion about splitting stitchs and eye placement, I’ve made a few additions to the pattern.
