A bold striped bag that’s as fun to knit as it is to use — no floats, no charts, just clean color changes and a satisfying stack of stripes.

The Stripes Chalk Bag is knit in the round from the bottom up. The top edge folds over to hold an adjustable cinch cord, and the finished bag is lined in fleece to keep chalk dust contained. It works just as well as a dog treat pouch or small cinch bag — clip it to your harness or your leash.
A great first colorwork project — stripes are the most approachable way to start working with multiple colors, and the result is bold and graphic.
