The Studio Sweater is the ideal basic knit for the motif of your choice.

The sweater is knitted from the top down. First, the upper back section is knitted in rows, while simultaneously shaping the shoulder slope with increases. Subsequently, new stitches are cast on for the shoulders and knitted in rows. The stitches of the two shoulders are then joined at the front to form the front section. The front and back can either be knitted separately down to the bottom (ideal for motif knitting using the Intarsia technique) or collected on a circular needle and knitted in the round. For the sleeves, new stitches are picked up from the armholes and knitted in the round. For the collar, new stitches are picked up from the neckline, knitted in twisted rib in the round, folded over, and grafted to the inside.

With this pattern, you receive the complete package. Included is the detailed knitting pattern for the pullover, which allows you to knit the model with or without a motif – entirely according to your taste.

Additionally, you receive 22 charts (Strickschriften) that you can individually incorporate – either with the Intarsia technique or directly during the knitting process.

Der Sweater wird von oben nach unten gestrickt. Zuerst wird der obere Teil des Rückens in Reihen gestrickt, während gleichzeitig durch Zunahmen die Schulterneigung geformt wird. Danach werden neue Maschen für die Schultern aufgenommen und in Reihen gestrickt. Die Maschen der beiden Schultern werden dann vorne zur Vorderseite verbunden. Die Vorder- und Rückseite können entweder separat bis unten gestrickt werden (ideal zum Motiv-Stricken mit der Intarsia Methode) oder auf einer Rundstricknadel gesammelt und in Runden gestrickt werden. Für die Ärmel werden neue Maschen aus den Armausschnitten aufgenommen und in Runden gestrickt. Für den Kragen werden neue Maschen aus dem Halsausschnitt aufgenommen, im verschränkten Rippenmuster in Runden gestrickt, eingeklappt und innen an der Innenseite angestrickt.
