Sulfur spectra! The name comes from the brilliant streaks of color in the sulfur spectra, often called spectra lines. These are the atom’s “footprint.” The colors in Mrs. Crosby’s Hat Box colorway Toucan are almost identical to Sulfur’s signature colors. The lace pattern is like sulfur’s orthorhombic crystal-structure (jargon for a 3D rectangle).

This shawl is perfect for those amazing, speckle-dyed, self-striping, variegated and tonal yarns. The colors don’t affect this lace pattern’s visibility and the stockinette lets the dyeing shine through!

This pattern uses every last bit of yardage, so if you want it bigger or just want to stay on the safe side, get a second skein.

Stay tuned! New languages will be added in the future.
