Sulfur spectra! The name comes from the brilliant streaks of color in the sulfur spectra, often called spectra lines. These are the atom’s “footprint.” The colors in Mrs. Crosby’s Hat Box colorway Toucan are almost identical to Sulfur’s signature colors. The lace pattern is like sulfur’s orthorhombic crystal-structure (jargon for a 3D rectangle).
