The Japanese word ‘sumire’ is ‘violet’.
These are socks that express the cute violets on my garden.

It reproduces the delicate appearance of the stems and buds. The use of purl on the top of the foot allows the violets to be faintly visible, making it a cute detail.
The opening has fluffy curve.

You start knitting from toe (using judy’s cast-on).

庭に咲いているスミレの姿を編み込み模様で表現したソックスです。繊細な茎やつぼみの様子も再現しています。
足の甲は裏編みを使うことでスミレがうっすらと見え、かわいいポイントになっています。
履き口がフレアのようにふんわりした曲線になります。

つま先からスタートし（ジュディ式作り目）、編み模様、引き返し編み（かかと部分）、ヒールフラップ、2色での編み込みを楽しみながら、履き口まで編みすすめます。
引き返し編みは写真つきで詳しく解説しています。
文章パターンですが、編み込み模様の編み図がついています。
