The Summer Breeze slip-over is a vest-style garment that is knitted with plenty of positive ease. Alternatively, if you prefer a fitted version, it will also look outstanding.
This item is ideal for wearing during the summer due to its lightweight design and numerous eyelets. It may be worn over bikinis with shorts or skirts. The intricate lace pattern enhances its adaptability. This outfit is versatile and may be used as a layering piece during the winter season as well. Wearing a long-sleeved shirt underneath will do the trick.
You may watch videos of me on my podcast demonstrating various ways to wear the garment. You can find it in the attached link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1qvS3hMhEM&t=79s

The garment was knitted with a set of 12 Mini Skeins from Bunny Box 2024 by Sprinkled Fibres. I used white lace size yarn to hold together with the mini skeins.

The second sample was made with cake yarn from Knit Circus Yarns, held together with a lace-sized silk yarn and a lace-sized metallic yarn.

For both situations, the recommended yarn size to use for knitting Summer Breeze is DK size yarn.

That style of garment is just delightful; not only does it allow full autonomy of movement with your hands, but it also pairs well with shorts, blouses, tops and trousers.

This outfit is top-down and seamlessly knitted. Incorporating two types of distinct lace designs. One for the saddle shoulders and another for the body.

I’m grateful that you have chosen to knit my slip over. I look forward to seeing your finished garment on your Ravelry project pages as well as on Instagram with the hashtag #summerbreezeso. You might consider tagging me @knitting_in_mauritius so I can be notified of your exquisite works.

Greetings from the sunny island of Mauritius and happy knitting.
