Summer Dotterel
One of the benefits of knitting a sideways sweater is the possibility of vertical stripes. This Dotterel sweater showcases this technique beautifully by alternating two colors every other row in simple stockinette throughout. It’s created with minimal shaping—just some increases at the neck and decreases at the shoulders and sleeves. And as with most of my knitting designs, no seaming with a tapestry needle is needed. The sweater has a fun construction that will keep you interested and moving along each step of the way.
