This striped chevron shift dress is light, bright, and colourful, perfect for a sunny day. It can be styled in whatever way you like.

The dress is not too complicated to make as it mostly consisted of double crochet stitches with just enough frill. This shift dress is made top down. There are three main parts: yoke, chest, and body. The chest is done in rows and the rest in turning rounds (join and turn). Hence, there is no need for sewing. The seam is barely visible. The front and the back are the same. The size is adjustable.

1 skein of the yarn I use weighs 100 g, 280 m. Each stripe does not need that much yarn, probably only needs about half of it or less. I did not start with the whole skein.
