Imagine yourself wandering in a meadow in high Summer, when the grass is high and bees are gathering nectar for honey. The long twisted stitches mirror the grasses and the honeycomb yoke the industry of the bees.

Summer Meadow is an elegant fitted top with 4” of negative ease and can be made cropped or long. Starting at the bottom, a deep rib section leads into a barley twist section over the waist area and then stocking stitch over the bust. The garment is knit in the round until armhole level and then divided for front and back and armhole decreases are made. Stitches are then cast back on to form the yoke. Stability comes with the honeycomb cable which forms an attractive topper.

You will need two to three skeins of light fingering weight yarn, the stretchier the better. A natural fibre with silk content is a good option. A different colour on the yoke gives a cute look.

Pattern is both charted and written and sizes included go from 27” to 41” bust. I’m working on providing extra sizes so if you are interested, please message me and I will let you know when new sizes are live.
