Happy month of June and Summer Solstice! I’m just barely making this post right after the summer solstice but I figure its good all summer long. Sense I’m kicking off my Year of Granny Square Motifs in June, I’m definitely thinking sunshine. I also have a special little boy whose birthday is on summer solstice, so needles to say a sun was a must have on my motif list!

This motif features a 12 pointed sun with a spiral center turned into granny square. The motif is a perfect 5in. by 5in. fit for a simple greeting card or any motif project of your choice.
