Construction Details
This cardigan is constructed by creating curved raglan lines through increases on both the sleeves and body. After separating the sleeves, the body is worked to your desired length and finished with a 1x1 rib. Stitches are then picked up along both front edges to create a double knitting button band.
The sleeves are worked in the round and finished with a 1x1 rib. The neckline is neatly completed with a 3-stitch i-cord bind-off. As it’s an open-front cardigan, there are no buttonholes, but our sample 2 features loop buttons for an added touch.
