10 Rib Sun Gazer Parasol

This 12 page pattern provides written and photo instructions to create this lace parasol cover. There are no charts in this pattern. (There is currently no pattern for the rainbow dress.)

Skill Level: Advanced Easy

Please advise the following sample round, which is one of the most complicated in the pattern, and use this as a litmus test to determine whether your skills are suited for this pattern.

Rnd 29: Ch2, dc2tog in same st as ch2 (counts as dc3tog here and throughout the next 5 rnds), ch2, (sc, ch3) in next 4 ch1 spaces, (sc, ch2) in next ch1 sp, (dc3tog, ch2) in next dc2tog, (dc, ch1) in next dc, dc2tog twice, ch1, (dc, ch2) in next dc, dc3tog in next dc2tog rep * * 18 more times and 1 more time, sl st in 2nd ch st from beg of rnd (2 dc sts, 5 sc stitches, 2 dc3tog, 2 dc2tog, 4 ch3 spaces, 4 ch2 spaces, and 2 ch1 spaces created in each repeat)

• 1.5mm hook

• Approximately 1 cake of Hobbii Sultan Cotton Kings in colorway Fire Opal

• Fingering Weight/2

• Cake Length: 874 yards

• Length Used For Cover: Approximately 840 yards Darning/Sewing needle Super glue Parasol frame (This cover will only fit a 10 rib, 35” / 89 cm diameter parasol frame)
