I just love seeing babies all dressed up and ready to party! If you’ve been looking for a quick baby knit that will add instant panache to an outfit, then you’ve found it - the Sunday Best Vest. Perfect for cooler days, this vest can be worn with a dress shirt for big events and Sunday outings, or with a casual t-shirt for lazy days.

Sunday Best Vest is a super quick knit, using only a small amount of yarn. Knit sideways from the underarm, the vest features unusual vertical stripes, lending a contemporary edge to this classic wardrobe staple.

The design is simple enough for beginner knitters. The provisional cast on, grafted join and i-cord edging are all great ways to practice skills.

Sizing
To fit: 3m (6m, 12m, 18m, 24m)
To fit chest size: 16” (17”, 18”, 19”, 21”) with 0.5”-0.75” ease at chest

Where possible, measure the chest of the child and choose a size that matches their measurement, rather than their age. The pattern includes a schematic to help you adjust sizing. Note that the garter panels at the underarm allow some stretch.

OR DK weight yarn as follows:
MC: 145 (160, 175, 190, 200) yards
