Sunday Morning is my favorite time of the week. It’s a day to relax and be with my family. One of the only days of the week when no one has to be anywhere specific and we can enjoy a leisurely breakfast together. It’s also the day I get the most knitting done, and I love this cowl because I can knit one easily over a weekend.

When I developed my Cozy Collection for Advent 2020 I knew a Sunday Morning colorway would be a part of the line up. It has proven to be a unique and versatile favorite, and was the inspiration for this pattern. Any speckled or tonal yarn will work well with the simple stitch pattern, which creates texture without being too busy.

You’ll want two skeins of yarn for the full size version. If you want to knit the pattern with one skein you’ll need to shorten the ribbing and the texture sections a bit.

Watch for the Sunday Morning Hat coming very soon! You’ll have just enough yarn left from your cowl to knit the hat.
