The Sunday Supper Toque uses a smooth sport-weight worsted wool yarn along with a strand of mohair/silk laceweight yarn for maximum coziness. The mohair is carried along with every other color of main yarn, adding just enough softness but with fewer strands to carry along at one time.

This design can be worked in 3 sizes—Small, Medium and Large which will fit heads ranging in circumference from about 18 to 23 inches. It uses sport-weight worsted-spun Maine wool yarn in 6 colors. The sample shown is size Medium.

This name of this design honors our post-pandemic tradition of bringing family and friends together for Sunday supper most weeks—the colors represent seasonal hues from snowy winter white through spring and summer greens to autumn yellows and gold. The colorwork pattern is simple and repetitive, and could easily be worked in fewer colors, or a completely different palette.
