The shawl is Tunisian crochet and made as a simple triangle, but broken by a ‘play panel’ where it can be personalized with different types of scrap yarn, colors or stitches - depending on experience and creativity.
It’s very fun and easy to make, and can be made by a beginner.
Links and photos of the stitches and techniques used and some tips are included in the pattern.

It’s made with finer ‘woolly’ yarn and a large hook in simple stitch.
Tunisian crochet creates a cloth similar to a woven structure, where the yarn fill out inside vertical stitches.

It’s a large soft shawl, that gives the user the feeling of wrapping up in a blanket, when used as a shawl. But because it’s made on a big size hook, it’s also soft and airy enough to be used as a big scarf or wrap.

I used 2 skeins red and one yellow. Approx 700 meters. This can be variated by the use of adding colors or scrap yarn in the ‘play panel’.
