This is not so much a pattern as it is a recipe for a triangular shaped shawl. You start off at one end with three stitches and increase by one stitch every right-side row. You can pick any stitch pattern or yarn weight and adapt the pattern to it.

I held three strands of sock-weight yarn together, using lots of scraps and leftovers, sorted into colour families to create a faded, marled effect.
