You have found yourself invited to a baby shower and you don’t have lots of time to knit something. Has that ever happened to you? Do you have a couple of free evenings?

The Super Easy Baby Pozo Sweater pattern is a great place to turn when you need something that is really quick and easy to make. Guests at the shower, along with the mommy in waiting, will be so impressed that you knitted this cute little sweater for the baby! (After all, how many other guests will give handmade sweaters?)

This is a top down sweater, knitted in one piece. You will be using garter and stockinet stitches. Very minimal sewing is involved, about one inch at the underside of each sleeve cap. There are instructions for four sizes, from newborn to 12 months. You will need only one package of Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn, worsted weight/aran. It is easiest to make this little sweater on a 29 inch circular needle, size nine. You will also need four stitch markers and a yarn tapestry needle.

This little sweater is quite stretchy, especially where it is needed most, (the armholes), making it enjoyably easy to get on and off a squirmy baby.

If you want a super easy baby sweater for a quick gift or if you are helping a novice knitter make a first sweater, you will both enjoy this pattern.
