This project is a result of a desire to replace a “past-its-prime” raggedy old hat with a stylish soft and warm chapeau. Knit in the round, this hat includes a rib stitch pattern for a secure fit, left and right cross cables to add some interest between the ribs, and a left twist to continue the serpentine motif throughout the decrease section. Using large yarn and needles, this is a quick gift for a male or female. My super star was happy knowing the only thing I replaced was his hat!
