This design makes a nice basket weave pattern. It’s made with two strands of worsted weight yarn held double, so it’s thick and warm.

For some reason, cats like this design. Friends for whom I’ve made it say their cats seek it out, and my husband’s cat has adopted the blanket I kept for us as his lovey.
