wear sushi on your head!

This hat features four pieces of sushi- salmon, squid, a piece of tuna roll, and a piece of futomaki. and a pompom.

size- one size fits many. The hat is 9 inches in diameter unstretched.

knit in the round using fair isle techniques.

skills: cast on, knit, purl, knit in the round (on circular and double pointed needles), knit with two colors, decrease, bind off. instructions to make pom pom are included!

tools and materials:
3 balls knit picks palette (or other fingering weight) yarn- 2 balls in color A (I used navy for both hats pictured) and one in color B (I used petal for the pink and edemame for the green). if you don’t make the pompom, you will only need 1 ball of color A. Each ball of knit picks palette is 231 yards.

tools: one size 1 (2.25mm) 16 inch circular needle, one size 2 (2.75mm) 16 inch circular needle, onse set of four size 2 (2.75mm) double pointed needles, stitch markers, needle to weave in ends, some scraps of cardboard and scissors to make pompom.
