CONSTRUCTION NOTES
This cowl is knit in the round from the top of the neck down to the bottom edge, with the leaf lace pattern worked throughout. There is a subtle point at the bottom of the front side, similar to a triangular shawl, and the pattern creates a scallop effect on both the cast on (top of neck) and bind off (bottom) edges.

NEEDLES, NOTIONS, & YARN
I used one set of US size 8 (5 mm) double-pointed needles (dpns) and switched to a 16 inch US size 8 circular needle toward the end of the pattern (around Row 30) when the dpns could no longer accommodate all the stitches. You’ll also need 3 stitch markers to be used in the INCREASE section of the pattern. Pictured is approximately three quarters of one skein of Plymouth’s Worsted Merino Superwash yarn in Fox. Each skein is 218 yards, so the cowl requires roughly 164 yards. Substitute a soft worsted weight yarn if not using the Worsted Merino Superwash.
