Svikasumar means Summer fraud, and alludes to the Icelandic summer this year. I chose three colors, all grayish, that symbolize the gray skies and the rain that we got, day in and day out, week in and week out. The pop-color symbolises all five sunny days we got this summer – and the yellow edge is a nod to the fact that August was quite a bit better than the three previous months, thank goodness! This is a fun, easy knit.

Yarn:
You´ll ideally choose a three color fade in, fingering yarn. The sample shown has Merino singles from La bien Aimee. color D is used in the edging, (also LBA in sample) and the pop-color is from Vivid wool.

Color A: Ayre, 25 gr, 92 meters.
Color B: Peerie Voe, 100 gr, 366 meters.
Color C: Eshaness, 70 gr, 257 meters
Color D: Yellow brick road, 40 gr, 147 meters
Pop-Color: Mini skein from Vivid wool, 20 gr, 80 meters.
