Sweater Weather Cowl
The Sweater Weather Cowl was inspired by a gorgeous three-color sock set I ordered from Moonglow Yarn Co!
The idea behind this cowl is that you’re holding two fingering weight strands, one main color all the way through with contrast colors throughout. I wound up the full MC skein into two 50g balls so that I could use one as the main color throughout and the other as the contrast color for the last section. Note that even though I had two 50g balls, I only used about 50g total of this color, so if you have less than a full skein, you can still make it work.
Depending on your gauge and the amount of yarn you have in a mini skein, you may use more or less than 20g for your contrast color designated in the sections throughout. Don’t worry about this as the pattern is really flexible and you can change colors whenever you like. Get creative!
I consider this to be a beginner-friendly cowl pattern knit in the round with some simple texture throughout.
