The Sweet Clover Vest features a beautiful 4-leaved clover detail all over the design. In nature, you can find clovers in many different colours, from green to purple and sometimes even in white. Most clovers have 3 leaves, but when you are lucky, you will find one with four leaves - exactly like on this design.

The Sweet Clover Vest is designed to have approximately 10cm / 4 inches of positive ease, for a relaxed fit.

The vest is knitted from the bottom up. First the body is knitted in the round, starting with the hem border lace pattern, followed by the all over lace pattern. It is knitted in the round up to the point where the armhole shaping starts. From here, the back and the front are worked flat, whilst the lace pattern continues. Some shaping is used for the back and front neckline. Then the shoulder stitches are grafted together, and a garter neckline and armhole edges are added, using smaller needles.
