The Sweet Clover Dress features a beautiful 4-leaved clover detail all over the dress. In nature, you can find clovers in many different colours, from green to purple and sometimes even in white. Most clovers have 3 leaves, but when you are lucky, you will find one with four leaves - exactly like on this design.
The dress also has a playful lace design for the yoke and for the hem border.

The Sweet Clover Dress is knitted from the bottom up. The body is knitted in the round, starting with the hem border lace pattern, followed by the all over lace pattern up to the point where the armhole shaping starts. The back and the front are worked flat, and some shaping is used for the neckline. Before the yoke lace pattern starts, the sleeves are knitted. Then body and sleeves are joined together, after which the lace yoke is worked in the round. Lastly, the garter neckline is added using smaller needles.
