Needles: 3.5 mm (US4) double pointed needles (5 total), or a 3.5 mm / 80 cm (32 inches) circular needle, if you are using the Magic Loop technique. One tapestry needle bent point and a measuring tape in centimeters.

Gauge: 21 st x 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm on 3.5 mm needle (knitted in stockinette stitch).
(26 rows = 10 cm hight for cuff.)

Materials: 150 (150) 150 (150) 150 g of 100% Baby Alpaca, Alpaca Warehouse www.alpaca4less.com . 50 g = approx. 100 meters (1.76 oz = approx. 109 yards) Weight: DK.
50 (50) 50 (50) 50 g of 70% kid mohair & 30% silk Filcolana, TILIA, 25 g = 210 meters.

Yarn option: Instead of the Alpaca Warehouse yarn, you could also use Drops PUNA yarn or any other DK weight yarn.

These socks are super soft and nice and tall. The cuff (15 cm) can be turned down or worn slouchy around the ankles. They are knitted from the top down, with a cuff knitted in 1x1 rib and can be knitted on double pointed needles or a circular needle. Sizes 35-40 have the same number of stitches, sizes 41-44 have more stitches around the cuff. Each pattern size has its own customized pattern on graph paper.
