♥ By popular request: the Sweet romper

A simple, quick knit with a whole lot of sweet. This romper and bonnet set adds a cute touch to any photo session or everyday outfit.

The romper is knit top down, raglan style, and comes in sizes from newborn to 18 months. A row counter and quick stitch count checks keep it on track. All of my patterns are tested for quality.

✨ What makes it work

• Top down raglan. Knit from the neck down.
• Matching bonnet. Finished with crochet ties.
• Needle friendly. DPNs or circulars, and straights work for the romper.
• Beginner friendly. Simple and quick to knit.

✂️ What you’ll need

• Yarn: Medium (4) weight. Shown in Worsted, Malabrigo, in Dusty Rose, or a similar weight yarn
• Yardage: Romper 65 (115, 127, 150) yds · Bonnet 65 to 95 yds
• Needles: US 8 (5.0mm) DPNs or circular needles (straight needles work for the romper)
• Hook: G (4.5mm) for the ties
• Tools: Stitch Marker · Yarn Needle · Scissors · Row counter

✿ Sizes

• Newborn (6 months, 12 months, 18 months)
• Romper, top of bib to crotch: 9 (12, 13, 14)“
• Romper width: 6.75 (8, 8.5, 9)“
• Bonnet height: 5.5 (6.75, 7, 7.25)“
• Bonnet depth: 5.25 (6.5, 6.75, 7)“
