For 2026, all of my patterns will be FREE: I celebrate YOU the KNITTERS who find JOY in your knitting, who knit to keep yourself and others warm and SAFE, who celebrate COLOR and CREATE BEAUTY…all this and more in a world fraught with problems and sadness. YOU ARE AMAZING! THANK YOU!!

NB: VAT or state tax will be applied to the purchase price during the paypal transaction where relevant.

This cowl is designed to accent the color and texture of the handspun yarn. It has an hourglass shape to increase the drape of the heavy yarns. By mixing a neutral-toned bulky yarn with the colorful super-bulky handspun, the slubby, wispy texture of the handspun pops all the more.

(NB: the pattern is written for both weights of yarn, but the Ravelry database did not allow me to list two weights on this project page; likewise, the total yardage (155-160) adds the approx. 110 yards of bulky weight with the 50 yards of super-bulky weight.)
