Sweet Someyeh is my beautiful friend and a beautiful 48-inch(122cm) chevron-textured cowl that guzzles yarn. It’s a 4+1 stitch pattern over 12-row repeat. There is a 24-inch(61cm) version called Lovely Lili.

The version shown in pictures is in fingering yarn, though the pattern does have other weights listed. I have only devised gauges for other weights, yardage will vary depending on yarn weight.

My friend, Someyeh came across a picture of this texture in a knitting group she’s in. She was hoping to find a pattern for it, but as everyone we know tried so hard, it wasn’t to be found. I decided to try to devise the pattern from similar patterns I’d knitted in the past and after a few months, I finally decided I had it!

V2 includes a new dyo at the beginning of SP2.
V3 oops, I don’t recall.
V4 added a p2tog at the end of first row of FR.
V5 fixed an issue with row SP2.
