Sweet Tooth
About the Design
This infinity scarf starts off with a provisional cast on, is then knit in the round as a tube, with the ends joined seamlessly using the Kitchener stitch.
The jagged, toothy pattern is made through striping colours every 6 rounds and slipping the previous colour’s stitches for the first 3 of those rounds. This creates the illusion of colour work while only knitting with one colour each round.
I’ve used a total of 5 colours in my scarf, but the pattern can be easily adapted to using more or less. There is info in the pattern on how to modify your yarn colours and amounts.
