The sweetheart lovey is a crochet amigurumi plushie in the shape of a heart that works up super quickly. He’s got a sweet little face and two legs which allow him to sit up on its own!

Crocheted loveys are one of my favorite items to make for kids; not only are they fun to play with but they are perfect to snuggle with and cute ones like this one double nicely as room décor!

The sweetheart lovey can be used year-round, not just for Valentine’s Day. Just imagine how sweet and thoughtful of a present it would be to give someone needing a little extra love, attention or support, no matter the day of the year or their age.

CONSTRUCTION:
You will begin by making each of the two cheeks of the heart separately before joining them together and working your way down to the bottom of the heart. The feet are worked separately then sewn on while the smile is embroidered on.

The finished sweetheart lovey measures roughly 9“ high (feet included) by 7“ wide.
