My “Sweetheart Cowl” was designed using
Nancy Marchant’s fabulous new book, Tuck
Stitches: Sophistication in Handknitting
.

This is a fun knit that clicks right along and the pattern
is a great introduction to this different method
of working the Tuck stitch.

This piece is worked into a rectangular shape
and then joined using single crochet stitches
with the two ends at a right angle to each other.
Make it as long or short as you wish!

When choosing yarn colors, make sure you have
good contrast. The red portion was knit in a DK
weight and the white in a Sport weight. This is
a great stash buster but watch out, Tuck stitch
can become addictive!
