Swellegance is a man’s vest that shows style. It is both casual and elegant, depending on the mood of the man wearing it and the clothes it is paired with. This vest is knitted repeating a set of 5 stripes, which alternate between 2 complementing colors. The stripes design makes it modern, the Peruvian wool makes it warm, and the oversized pocket with button closure makes it practical. The body, knit entirely in stockinette stitch, is framed on the bottom and around the arm opening by a regular knit 2 purl 2 ribbon. The button band and V-neck opening is knit in alternating garter and stockinette row pairs to counteract the stripes. This pattern is easy even for the beginning knitter. The model is wearing the XL size vest.
