Swirl! has gentle curves and three pointy ends, and can worn in a variety of ways. Multi-colored yarn accentuates the curves and movement of the stole.

Instructions are provided for making a larger version and for striping in two different ways with Transitions. (See last two photos for comparisons of the two striping methods.)

Instructions are both written and charted.

Skills needed: decreases, yarn overs, slipped stitches, knit through back loop, wet blocking.

This pattern was created for Done Roving Frolicking Feet Transitions yarn. Any multi or solid would also be beautiful and allow you the flexibility to make this any size you like.

I can’t express enough thanks to Kris, who wandered with me through the maze of countless iterations as this design evolved; to Sigrun for reviewing the initial pattern, helping me make it navigable; to my veteran test knitter Ann; and to my newbie tester Carol, who additionally applied her eagle eyes to reviewing the final pattern.
