These Spiral Pumpkins add a unique look to your traditional fall decor.

This is a free pattern that is available on my blog here.

The pattern includes instructions on how to make them in 2 different sizes. The small pumpkin comes out at 5cm wide and 6cm tall. The large pumpkin is 8cm wide and 9cm high.

You can make up your own pumpkin patch with both sizes of pumpkin for a quick to make autumn display.

The pumpkins are made in a flat piece before being joined together and stuffed. Then finally the stem is crocheted into place. Once the pumpkins are joined together the spiral ribbing will be on full show.

To make the Spiral Pumpkins you will need:

  • Mercerised cotton DK in 2 different colours - 12 yards for the small pumpkin / 42 yards for the large pumpkin
  • 3mm hook
  • Stuffing
  • Needle for weaving in ends

The pattern would suit an intermediate level crocheter and includes all the pictures to show how each step of the pattern is made. There is also a video that you can crochet along with.
