This is a cuff down pattern that reminds me of dragon scales! This pattern will be a little tighter on your leg to achieve the texture pattern. I suggest either going up a size in stitch count (I have an 80 count for people that normally like a 72 count sock) or go up a needle size.

Needles: US 1 (2.25mm) and/or US 1.5 (2.5mm) 32” magic loop, or your preferred method of sock knitting. If you tend to knit tight or you do not like a tight sock, this pattern may need to be knit the patterned portion of the sock on the US 1.5 (or larger) needle to obtain the desired size. Alternatively, you can go up one stitch count and stay on your usual needle.
