Sylvia Sweater
The relaxed fit of the Sylvia Sweater creates an easy, laid-back silhouette, while the distinctive half-brioche pattern adds a delicate, lively texture and gives the fabric beautiful depth. The result is a design that feels both casual and elegant, making it easy to style in many different ways.
The Sweater is worked top-down in one piece in half brioche stitch (purl side). The neckline is first shaped using short rows (German short rows).
After that, raglan and sleeve increases are worked until there are enough stitches on the needles to join the front and back for the body. The body is then worked in the round until the desired length is reached.
The sleeves are worked in the round using double-pointed needles or the magic loop method.
