Take a Leaf - Curtain Tie
Are you looking for whimsical curtain ties? Then why not tie your curtains with leafy vines?
This pattern shows you how to knit some beautiful leaves to tie your curtains with. I just sewed them onto the curtains with some stitches so they will stay on the curtain, even if they are open. But you could also take them off when you want to open the curtains.
Or you can attach them to your keys, rucksack, bag, jacket, Christmas tree… Wherever you like, be creative and don’t forget to share your ideas in the projects
The leaves you see in the photos are knitted with Drops Lima (50g/100m) using 4mm dpns. That way the leaves and all are about 27cm long. But really you could use any yarn and the corresponding needles, that will affect the size though.
You will need only a small amount of yarn ( so it’s perfect for those leftovers from bigger projects), 3dpns, a st holder or scrap yarn to park some sts, scissors and a needle to weave in loose ends.

Have fun!
