It’s a toy bowling set! What more could you want?

The pins stand with the help of recycled jar lids and the ball is weighted with fabric scraps or a t-shirt. If you use the recommended yarn, you’ll keep approximately 3 plastic bottles out of America’s landfills. It’s a fun eco friendly project. Finished pins measure 13” high. This set is knit in the round (5 DPNs), is fairly straight forward and doesn’t require any fancy stitching.

This pattern was created as part of the DRT Bake Sale to fund Dish Rag Tag 2009. All profits from purchases before September 30, 2009 were used to provide prizes for the first, second and third place teams. Now the profits are used to house and feed six cats.
